KEEPING FAMILY TRADITIONS ALIVE!

Hello Africa was founded by Sunday Ali, a proud cultural educator from Nigeria, West Africa. For over 20 years, Sunday shared the vibrant rhythms, stories, and spirit of African culture with thousands of children across Brisbane—through drumming, dancing, and storytelling that left a lasting impact.

Today, as Sunday steps back from performing, his children proudly carry the torch, continuing his legacy with the same energy, joy, and deep respect for African heritage. Together, they’re keeping the family tradition alive—sharing music, laughter, and cultural wisdom that teach children to appreciate and respect other cultures.

From school programs to community workshops, Hello Africa continues to celebrate the beauty of African music, arts, and storytelling—connecting hearts through rhythm and culture.
